The Sims 4 Virtual World: The Fandom         Since 2000, The Sims has been an evolving video game franchise that gives gamers entire control of their creations. According to Favis (2020), The Sims has 20 million players worldwide, with over 200 million copies sold on PC. The Sims give its users the ability to create and design characters, called Sims, while giving them certain traits that will be apparent throughout the game by moodlets. For example, moodlets show what kind of mood that sim is in; Happy, sad, angry, playful, confident, inspired, focused, flirty, and embarrassed. By the user selecting interactions in the game, such as making a sim cook, sleep, clean, sing, or swim, these actions will either boost or decrease a Sim's mood. Furthermore, gamers can build houses from scratch in any way they please and choose outfits for their sim to wear for certain events. Sims even has its own made-up language, called Simlish.   Rupaul's Drag Race Fandom Rupaul's Drag Race Season 15 Promotional Photoshoot.  MTV (n.d.)      Rupaul's Drag Race  [RPDR] is a long running competition series that features all things Drag. The show has been around since 2009, with over 20 global franchises related to RPDR. There are fans all over the world who love drag, and are able to watch it live at a bar, or at home. A panel of judges critique the queens, and determine if they will win or go home. Each Episode challenges each queen to something different, comedy, acting, singing, dancing, lip syncing, sewing, etc. The winner that withstands each episode will win a cash prize of 200,000 dollars, a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics , and the title of America's Next Drag Superstar.  Viewing Parties An advertisement for the viewing party. Taylor Swift     Who's Taylor Swift anyway?      Taylor Swift is one of the most loved pop stars in the nation. Her fan base has been growing steadily since her debut album dropped in 2006. Her fandom is full of some of the most creative and committed people. "Swifties" is the name that's been given to her fans and they are all proud to say it. From clothing to jewelry, fanart, and more, Taylor Swift's fans do it best.  Fan Art The internet has been flooded with Taylor Swift fans preparing for their turn to see her in concert. Fans have been customizing very creative outfits to wear to her concerts. Since her tour will include songs from all of her eras, fans are basing their outfits on their favorite album, and for some, it's them all!  One fan recently made a portrait of Taylor using lavender buds.     The first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone  was first released in the late 90's and immediately swept the muggle world and put them under an enchantment.  Following this was the six additional sequential books by J.K. Rowling.  In the early 2000's the books were turned into eight different movies.  The protagonists of the series are three Hogwarts students, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.  Throughout this series, Ron and Hermione assist Harry in facing dangerous obstacles on his path to defeating Lord Voldemort, the villain in this story.  Quickly after the release of the first book, the Harry Potter fan club grew immensely.  These "Potterheads" show their love for everything related to Harry Potter in a vast amount of ways.
